近段时间，我相信没有什么事情能比世界杯更受欢迎。周围的人都在谈论足球赛，打开电脑也全是关于足球比赛的信息，甚至打开电视机或者看下报纸，都无法避免不看关于世界杯的信息。为什么世界杯这么受欢迎呢？为什么有那么多人关注呢？你是如何看待世界杯的？大家是真的喜欢吗？在我看来，主要是有三类人使得世界杯如此的受欢迎。

First of all, the people are really interested in football will pay special attention on the World Cup. World Cup is the football match between countries held every four years. You can imagine how excellent the performance would be. How can the football lovers not pay attention on it? With the popularization of football, the amount of this kind of people should not be underestimated. Secondly, the people who swims with the tide also make contribution to spread the World Cup. There is a number of people focus on the World Cup just want to chase the trend. Last but not least, the gambler is another reason that should not be ignored. Besides watching the excellent performance of football players, to forecast the result before the match is certainly. World Cup provides a chance for the gambler to bet with a great excuse. How can they miss it? 

首先，那些真的喜欢足球的人会特别关注世界杯。世界杯是国与国之间的足球比赛，而且是每四年举行一次。可以想象得到这比赛是有多么的精彩。足球爱好者怎么可能不关注它。随着足球的普及，足球爱好者的数量是不可低估的。其次，那些随波逐流的人也为推广世界杯做出了一定的贡献。有部分人关注世界杯仅仅只是为了跟上潮流。最后但并非最不重要的，赌徒也是另一个不可忽视的因素。除了观看精彩的比赛，在比赛前预测比赛结果也是必然的。世界杯为那些赌徒提供了一个冠冕堂皇的理由。他们怎么可能错过呢？

To sum up, as far as I am concerned the three kind of people mentioned above is the main reason to make the Word Cup so popular. 

总之，我觉得上述的那三类人是使得世界杯如此受欢迎的主要原因。

Recently, the World Cup is coming, this is an excited moment for the football fans. The whole media are waiting for the reporting, because of the long four years’ waiting. Men are so happy to see the extraordinary games, while women are not interested in it at all. This is the common problem in a family, at that time, the TV program always intrigues argument, how to solve this problem？

最近，世界杯即将来袭，对于足球迷来说，这是一个激动的时刻。全世界的媒体都等待着报道，因为他们等待了漫长的四年。男人很高兴能看到这非凡的球赛，然而女人一点儿也不感兴趣。这是每个家庭都存在的问题，那时，电视频道经常会引发争吵，如何解决这个问题呢？

For most women, they are not interested in football, they think it is so boring, many players chasing a football; it takes so much time for them to get a goal. They will choose to watch TV drama. But when the World Cup comes, women should learn to understand their husbands, the game comes four-year a time, and men’s love for football is like women’s love for the TV drama. So they should not interfere their husbands to watch the game, giving them freedom to watch it.对于女人来说，她们对足球不感兴趣，他们觉得很无聊，很多运动员追着一个球，花了很长时间才打进一个球。她们会选择看电视剧。但是当世界杯来临的时候，女人应该学着去理解丈夫，这场赛事四年才来一次，男人对足球的热爱就像女人对电视剧的热爱。因此她们不应该干涉她们的丈夫看球赛，给他们自由去看球。For men, when they watch the games, they can’t help yelling, so it is not suitable to watch the game at home, they should ask their friends out and watch the game in a hotel or go to the bar. These places are allowing shouting.  对男人来说，当他们看球赛的时候，禁不住叫喊，所以他们不适合在家里看球赛，他们应该叫朋友出来，在旅馆或者酒吧里看。这些地方是允许叫喊的。When both women and men reach the agreement, they will understand each other, so the family will be harmonious. 当男人和女人达成了共识，就能彼此理解，这样家庭才会和谐。

The commentator was watching the world cup football final between England and West Germany.It seemed certain that England would win.There was only a minute left and England were leading by two goals to one.The German team had scored first but England had soon equalised and a quarter of and hour later,Peters had given them the lead.Now,play was in the English half of the field and the referee had just blown his whistle.He awarded a free kick to German about forty yards from the English goal.All the players gathered in front of the goal.Only a few seconds remained.The kick was taken and the ball went up to the left of the English penalty area.Everyone was fighting for it .It flew across the face of the goal.The defenders could not get it waay.Suddenly,Weber,the german left half,had the ball at his feet.Bob,the English goalkeeper,rushed to the other end of the goal to cover Weber's shot but it was too late.The ball was in the net.West Germany had levelled the score.The referee blew his whistle again to indicate the end of the normal period of play.The two teems would have to play extra time to decide who won the cup
