形容词和副词必考点归纳

 

1.多个定语时的顺序:限/数/描//大/形/新//颜/国/材

2.形容词亦可作状语:

He went to bed,cold and hungry./Afraid of troubles, he would not accept the duty.

3.几组意义完全不同的形副词:hard,hardly/dead,deadlylate/lately/fair/fairly

4.几组有2种副词形式但词义不同的词:close,closely/free,freely/hard,hardly/late,lately/most,mostly/most,mostly/wide,widely/high,highly/deep,deeply/loud,loudly/near,nearly

5.几个貌似副词的形容词:lively/lonely/lovely/deadly/friendly/ugly/silly/likely/brogherly/manly/timely

 He spoke to me very friendly.(F)

He spoke to me in a friendly way.(T)

6.可修饰比较级表程度的词:even/still/much/a lot/a great deal/a little/a bit

 提示:not a litttle=very; not a bit=not at all  eg:He was not a little tired./He was not a bit tired.

7.the+形容词----可表一类人或事物 the poor/rich/old/young/beautiful

8.(a) most....并非最高级,而是“非常,很”之意 a most beautiful city/A knowledge of English is most important.

9.more...and more...越来...越....;the more...the more...越...,越....

 The more you look at the picture,the better you’ll like it.

10.倍数表达:A is ...times as big as B./A is ...times... bigger than B/A is ...times the size(height,length...)of B

11.more...than...与其说是...,不如说是....

 The little girl is more tired than hungry.

She is more a mother than a wife.

She is more of a mother than a wife.

12. A is to B what C is to D: A与B的关系就如同C与D的关系

Air is to man what water is to fish./She is to Tom what mother is to kid.

13.no more than=only,仅仅,只不过 He is no more than a kid.

   not more than=at most不多于,至多 She is not more than 2o years old.

   No more/better than和...一样不...  His English is no better than hers.

   not more/better than 不比...更... His English is not better than hers.

   no less than=as much as ;no fewer than=as many as; He is no/not less determined than you.

 14. so...that...与such that...

   so +adj/adv+...that... eg:... is so important that...

so+adj+a+单名that...eg:...so beautiful a girl that...

so+much/many/little/few+名词+that... eg: ...so little money that.../...so few people that....

such +a+adj+n  eg: such a brave man=so brave a man

such+adj+un    eg:such dirty water/bad food

such +adj+pl    eg:such popular stars...

注意:such little boys(小)/so little juice(少)

15.can’t be too...=can’t be ...enough=can never be too...=can never be...enough. 无论...都不为过
