  Kuo thanks 'sisters'

BEFORE Taiwanese singer Claire Kuo (郭静) started singing, she taught cheerleading at school. She could do difficult moves, for example, the back slip (后空翻). Her college cheerleading team even won in an international contest.

"I put a lot of effort into cheerleading, and it was worth it," said Kuo. "It taught me that youth is once-in-a-lifetime thing. Don't waste it, or you'll end up with regrets."

She puts the same effort into singing.

On November 15, she was in Beijing to promote her first album I Don't Want to Forget You. She is famous for singing the music for popular TV dramas. They include Emerald on the Roof (《屋顶上的绿宝石》) and When Dolphin Met Cat (《海豚爱上猫》).

Kuo is now with the same record company as Angela Chang (张韶涵) and Fan Fan (范玮琪). For her album, the three worked together on a song named Three People. The song tells about the long-lasting friendship among three girls. They always support each other.

"I can learn from my two 'elder sisters'," said Kuo.
