今天是我在澳大利亚学习的第一天。

当我知道9点钟才上课的时候，心情那个激动啊！因为在中国，我们都是早上7点半就要去上课的。这天我可不能迟到，于是早早地在8点半来到了学校。当我刚踏进校门，就有一个不明飞行物向我飞来，要不是我眼疾手快，及时闪开，后果可真是难以预料。定睛一看，原来吓我一跳的罪魁祸首是个篮球。可是一大早哪里来的篮球啊？这早晨宝贵时间不是应该书声琅琅吗？再向四周一瞧，操场上已聚集了很多人，有的打篮球，有的踢澳式足球，还有的扔飞碟，看得我好不惊讶。进了教室，一直等到打铃，同学们才带着一身大汗进了教室，同学问我：“Sam，你怎么不去打球？”我反问：“你们没有早读吗？我们在中国，7点半就要上学了，早读、做操，现在都上第二节课了。”他似乎大吃一惊的样子：“什么？那么早？你们真是太辛苦啦！我们早上从来都不需要进教室去做这么多学习上的事，来得早的同学只需要跑到操场上打打球运动运动，各自进行自己喜欢的活动，等打铃了再进教室上课就行了。”原来他们是利用早晨的时间在锻炼身体呀，真是太轻松了！

我就在惊讶和感叹中开始了我的第一节课。

上课铃已经响过，再看看同学们并不像我所习惯的那样，一本正经地坐好等老师来上课，而是想怎么坐就怎么坐，可以随意指指点点，比比画画，想发言，张嘴就说，想上厕所，悄悄走开就行。老师讲课也很随意，不需要精神抖擞地站在讲台前上课，可以坐在椅子上，可以来回走动，甚至可以坐到讲台上，讲到激动处还可以指手划脚……哈哈，这些举动如果出现在我们中国的课堂上，肯定会给学生扣上“不懂规矩”、给老师带上“师容不整”的帽子。

课堂上，老师们都是用英语授课，所以我听得很是吃力，往往要想上半天才回过神来。又听到一处不明白的了，我正想举手问老师，忽然一个声音从背后响起：“Miss，Icannotunderstand.Wouldyoupleaseexplainitagain？（老师，我不太理解。你能否再解释一下呢？）”回头一看，原来是一个澳洲同学，正坐在自己的座位上叽里呱啦地说着。我不由得心想：他怎么可以不举手就问问题呢？太不像样了。可是再看看老师好像一点也不生气，只是不住地点头，然后又很耐心地重新讲解起来，我又一次领教了澳洲课堂轻松自由的氛围。想起在中国时，我们上课多遵守纪律啊——坐姿要端正，屁股不能离开板凳；发言要举手，举手要规范；不仅是学生，老师上课时也要站在规定的位置，衣着也要得体，哪怕头发乱一点也不行……这真是两种截然不同的教学理念和方式。

听说澳洲大部分小学下午3点就放学了，真是好轻松啊，也很让我羡慕。想想我们的学习生活，每天要起得比很多大人还要早，睡得也比较晚，每天除了要完成学校老师布置的好多作业，还要完成家长布置的课外作业，连周末也不得轻松，东奔西跑地参加名目繁多的课外辅导班。听着都觉得好累啊！

究竟是什么造成了这样的差异呢？我努力思考着，尝试通过查询一些资料寻求答案。

首先，肯定是文化背景的差异。西方的文化强调个体，强调个人价值的最大化，崇尚自由，也就是所谓的个人主义吧。而中国呢，自古以来，强调的是国家和集体利益，个人利益和整体相比是微不足道的，要服从群体的利益。

然后，就是经济问题。中国毕竟还是一个发展中国家，经济水平有限，人口众多，社会竞争也很激烈，这样的竞争就不可避免地折射到教育中来，所以强调的是精英教育。竞争，自然从孩子就开始了。

再次，就是教育理念的不同。中国人强调的是中规中矩，外国人要求的是生活的自主自立，孩子到了一定的年龄必须独立生活。因此，在课堂教学中对孩子的要求当然也就大相径庭了。

我觉得，过于自由也不是好事。常言道：“没有规矩，不成方圆。”可是，压力太大也不利于我们小学生的健康成长。中国的教育和澳洲的教育就像是两个极端，如果能把这两种不同的教育理念和教育方式中和一下，．让学生自由而开心地学习，老师愉快而轻松地授课，那岂不是更好？真希望有一天中国的孩子们能够这样快乐地学习。

通过在墨尔本的一所小学近一个星期的学习，我看到了中澳启蒙教育的差异，两者各有利弊。如果能相互借鉴，相互参考，取长补短，那么我们的教育一定能办得更好。
