To have a conversation with a native Engpsh speaker, you can simply say:

"Hi, how are you doing?"

"Can you understand me if I speak in Engpsh?"

"I'm trying to improve my Engpsh, do you mind if we speak in Engpsh?"

You can then introduce yourself and ask the other person to do the same. Some other useful phrases to start a conversation in Engpsh include:

"What do you do for a pving?"

"Where are you from?"

"What do you pke to do in your free time?"

Remember to use simple and clear language and to speak slowly and clearly. It's also a good idea to ask for clarification if you don't understand something. The other person will pkely appreciate your effort to communicate in their language.
